Eric Hess obtained a law degree from the University of Geneva in 1986 and was admitted to the bar in 1988. He worked for a local bank for 7 years as a lawyer, head of the Legal, Compliance and Central File Department. He was also a member of the bank's Anti-Money Laundering Committee.
Mr. Hess is an independent lawyer at Saint-Léger Avocats, where he is a partner and co-founder. Mr. Hess specializes in economic criminal law and international mutual legal assistance, as well as banking law and compliance management. Since 2011, he has also been a deputy judge at the Criminal Court. He has overseen the legal, compliance and AML aspects of Bastions Partners Office SA since its creation in 2013 and is a member of the Board of Directors of Bastions since June 2017. Mr. Hess continues his role at Auris Wealth Management SA.
